GMDSS ROC to GMDSS GOC Conversion Course will allow you to obtain Global Maritime Distress and Safety System General Operator (GMDSS) certificate, if you are in possession of  Global Maritime Distress and Safety System Restricted Operator (GMDSS)

Accredit the student to be qualified staff for emergency, urgency, security and routine communications. A broad knowledge of all GMDSS equipment and procedures used in ships sailing in any maritime area (A1, A2, A3 and A4) is obtained.

Certificate of Maritime Specialty approved by the General Directorate of the Merchant Navy (DGMM) and confirmed by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

We want inform you that our courses are in Spanish, because the Maritime Spanish Authority does not allow us to do courses in English. But our instructors can give you directions in English.

We would also like to inform you that our certificate cannot be presented at the Spanish Authority. The Spanish Maritime Authority accept a Spanish certificate if you do the initial course in Spain. But they can’t check that you have the initial certificate from another country. You will have to present our certificate to the captaincy of the country where you did your initial course

This course is addressed to Masters and Officers in charge of the navigational watch of civil vessels under the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System in any maritime area (A1, A2, A3 and A4), according to the definitions provided by the Royal Decree 1185/2006 to October 16.

The program complies with the official regulations of the Order FOM/2296/2002 and the Resolution of June 18, 2013, complying with the STCW-78 Convention Training Code. Its contents are contained in Regulation IV/2 of the amended STCW-78 Convention, Section A-IV/2, Table A-IV/2 and Section B-IV/2 of the Training Code and ERC/DEC/(99)01.
